Fri Mar 07 18:26:14 UTC 2025: ## BJP to Implement Three-Language Policy in Tamil Nadu if Elected, Says Annamalai
**Coimbatore, March 7, 2025** – The BJP’s Tamil Nadu state president, K. Annamalai, asserted Friday that the party will implement a three-language policy in the state should it win the 2026 elections. Annamalai claimed the policy enjoys significant public support, including from government school students. He added that decisions regarding alliances with other parties would be made at a later date by the BJP’s national leadership, emphasizing the party’s commitment to alliances built on trust.
Annamalai also criticized the ruling DMK, questioning its inaction on offering medical and technical courses in Tamil, despite advocating for it. He challenged the DMK’s criticism of the BJP’s campaign, pointing to a similar campaign by Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin seeking NEET exemption. Further criticism was directed towards the Karnataka government regarding the Mekedatu dam issue and accusations of the DMK misusing state liquor sales revenue for political gains. Annamalai denied any personal animosity towards other parties or leaders, reiterating the BJP’s focus on strengthening its position in Tamil Nadu.
