Texas and South Carolina ended the regular season tied atop the conference standings with identical 15-1 records. After splitting their season series, SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey’s coin toss landed in favor of the South Carolina Gamecocks, securing them the number one seed for the fourth consecutive year.
