**Murthal, Haryana:** A 14-year-old boy was tragically electrocuted while collecting cash thrown during a wedding celebration in Tajpur village, Haryana, late Thursday night. Himanshu, an eighth-grader and son of daily wage earners, was watching a wedding procession when guests began throwing money into the air. Attempting to collect some notes that landed on a rooftop, he came into contact with a live electrical wire. The resulting electric shock caused severe burns and ultimately led to his death. Police, who arrived on the scene and conducted a post-mortem, confirmed the cause of death as electrocution. The body has since been released to his family. The incident highlights the inherent dangers of unsupervised access to electrical infrastructure, particularly during large, celebratory events.
