**ALAPPUZHA, March 7, 2025** – The Mavelikara-Thekkekara grama panchayat in Kerala has launched a new water ATM near Olakettiyambalam Kalithattu, providing affordable access to purified drinking water. The ₹7.15 lakh facility purifies water from a storage tank through a five-stage process before dispensing one litre for ₹1. Panchayat president K. Mohan Kumar inaugurated the ATM, with V. Radhakrishnan, chairperson of the Health and Education Standing Committee, presiding over the ceremony.
