**FARIDABAD, INDIA –** An eight-year-old girl from Faridabad displayed remarkable bravery on Thursday evening when she thwarted a robbery attempt at her family’s hardware store. Kritika, while completing her homework at the counter of Ravi Bhati Hardware on Sohna Road, confronted two armed robbers.
CCTV footage shows the two masked men, who arrived on a motorbike, threatening Kritika with a pistol and demanding money. Despite the terrifying situation, Kritika remained calm, refusing to reveal the location of the cash. Instead, she cleverly triggered a nearby bell, alerting her family upstairs. The robbers, startled by the arrival of family members, fled the scene on their waiting motorbike.
While Kritika’s actions have earned her widespread praise from her family and neighbours for her quick thinking and courage, the family has decided not to file a police complaint.
