**Hyderabad, March 7, 2025** – Motorists in Hyderabad are advised to expect traffic disruptions around the BHEL junction from March 7th to 8th due to ongoing pipeline work. The Cyberabad Traffic Police announced diversions necessary for the commissioning and shifting of a large water pipeline along the National Highway.
This 48-hour project requires shutting down the MWSS Phase-II Water Treatment Plant and a major pipeline, impacting traffic flow significantly. Specific diversions include rerouting vehicles from Patancheru towards Chandanagar via the new BHEL flyover, and alternative routes for those travelling to Lingampally and Nallagandla. Commuters from Lingampally to Chandanagar will be redirected via BHEL Circle, while those from Ameenpur will need to divert at Sridevi Theatre.
The police advise drivers to plan their routes carefully and consider alternative routes to avoid potential delays during this period. The work is intended to prevent future traffic disruptions.
