**Hyderabad, [Date]** – The Telangana government has extended its Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) deadline to March 31, 2025, offering a 25% discount on regularization and pro-rata open space charges to those who apply by then. The scheme allows for the registration of unregistered plots in unauthorized layouts, provided at least 10% of plots within the layout were sold via registered sale deeds before August 26, 2020.

Applicants whose applications are rejected will receive a 90% refund, with a 10% processing fee deducted. Plots within 200 meters of water bodies will be processed jointly by the Revenue and Irrigation departments. Applicants can choose to defer pro-rata open space charges until building permission is sought, but will forfeit the 25% discount.

For added convenience, the LRS website now offers public access to application status without requiring login. A dedicated helpline, 1800 599 8838, has been established at the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) to assist applicants.
