**Chandigarh, March 7, 2025** – An Indian Air Force (IAF) Jaguar fighter jet crashed in the Panchkula district of Haryana on Friday after experiencing a system malfunction. The pilot successfully ejected and is safe.

The aircraft, on a routine sortie, went down in hilly terrain. The pilot skillfully maneuvered the jet away from populated areas before ejecting. A police official confirmed the pilot’s safe ejection.
