NEW YORK, NY – 2K Games has revealed the full roster of downloadable content (DLC) for its upcoming wrestling game, WWE 2K25, set to launch on March 17th. The DLC will span several packs released throughout 2025, adding a diverse range of wrestlers to the already extensive base roster.
The first pack, “New Wave,” arriving in May, features rising WWE stars Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Giulia, and Stephanie Vaquer, alongside an unannounced celebrity guest. June’s “Dunk & Destruction Pack” marks the WWE 2K debut of TNA legend Abyss, the return of The Great Khali, and the addition of three mystery NBA superstars.
July’s “Fearless Pack” will offer a grittier selection including the late ECW star New Jack, Jordynne Grace, Penta El Zero Miedo, Bull Nakano, and another unannounced celebrity. September’s “Attitude Era Superstars Pack” brings back 90s favorites D’Lo Brown, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, Victoria, and Mark Henry. Finally, November’s “Saturday Night’s Main Event Pack” features WWE video game debuts for Jesse “The Body” Ventura, Paul Orndorff, Tito Santana, Junkyard Dog, and Sid Justice.
The announcement confirms previous rumors and cryptic hints released by 2K. The DLC packs will supplement WWE 2K25’s already impressive roster, which includes current WWE superstars, legends, and MyRise characters. The game also features a new Showcase mode focusing on The Bloodline, expanded gameplay including intergender wrestling, and updated MyGM and Universe modes. While some fans have expressed concerns about the inclusion of NBA stars and celebrities, 2K has yet to comment.
