**Chennai, March 6, 2025** – Two 21-year-old engineering students from Andhra Pradesh were killed in a road accident in Urapakkam early Thursday morning. Thanesh Reddy and Mohammad, third-year students at a private college in Potheri, were passengers in a car that collided with a lorry. Three other students, also from Andhra Pradesh and visiting their friends, sustained injuries in the accident.

According to the Guduvanchery Traffic Investigation Wing, the car, driven by Thanesh Reddy, was traveling towards Tambaram when the lorry ahead suddenly stopped. Despite attempts to brake, the car crashed into the lorry. The injured students are receiving medical treatment. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
