**Chennai, March 7, 2025** – Two 21-year-old engineering students from Andhra Pradesh were killed in a road accident in Urapakkam early Thursday morning. Thanesh Reddy and Mohammad, both third-year students at a private college in Potheri, were passengers in a car that collided with a lorry. Three other female students, also from Andhra Pradesh and visiting their friends, were injured in the accident.
According to the Guduvanchery Traffic Investigation Wing, the car, driven by Thanesh Reddy, rear-ended a lorry that had stopped suddenly. Despite attempts to brake, the collision was unavoidable. The victims were pronounced dead at the scene. The injured passengers are receiving medical treatment. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
