**Dindigul, Tamil Nadu – March 6, 2025** – The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly today concluded a day-long inspection tour of Dindigul district, reviewing ongoing government projects and schemes. Led by Chairperson K. Selvaperunthagai, the committee visited several locations, including the Sri Dhandayuthapani Swamy Temple in Palani, where they assessed development works and facilities for devotees.
The PAC also inspected projects under the Kalaignar Urban Development Scheme in Palani Municipality, focusing on improvements to the daily market and parking facilities. These projects are slated for completion by May. Further inspections included government schools, assessing their infrastructure, a community hall in Oddanchatram, and road expansion works.
In a significant gesture, the committee presented scooters to several differently-abled individuals at the Dindigul Collectorate. The inspection was conducted in the presence of Collector S. Saravanan and other district officials.
