**Cuddalore, March 6, 2025** – NLC India Limited (NLCIL) launched a new mobile safety application, “Aran,” as part of the 54th National Safety Week. The app, which prioritizes safety measures, aims to create a “zero accident” environment within the company.
The launch coincided with the National Safety Week, themed “Safety and Well-being crucial for Viksit Bharat.” NLCIL’s Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, emphasized the app’s importance in preventing accidents, particularly within industrial units. He urged all stakeholders to download and utilize the application.
“Aran” offers various safety features, including the ability to directly report and upload images of safety concerns. Users can also monitor the status of their reports. The app further provides access to accident details, recent safety measures, audit and statistical reports, safety committee meeting minutes, and official circulars. Directors (Human Resources) and (Power), Samir Swarup and M. Venkatachalam, respectively, were also present at the launch.
