**TIRUVANNAMALAI, March 7, 2025** – A 58-year-old weaver and his wife were found dead in their home in Serpākkam village near Arani, Tamil Nadu, on Thursday, police reported. K. Rajaram (58) and R. Samundeeswari (49) had been involved in weaving for many years but were reportedly facing financial difficulties due to a lack of work. Their two married children live separately in Arani.
Neighbors discovered the couple unresponsive after they failed to emerge from their house. Police, alerted by the neighbors, forced entry and found the couple deceased. Doctors at the Government Taluk Hospital in Arani confirmed their deaths upon arrival. A police investigation is underway.
