**DHARWAD, March 6, 2025** – Dharwad is preparing to host the Kaushalya Rozgar Job Mela, a major employment fair, on Sunday, March 9th, at the Karnatak College campus. Over 5,000 job seekers have already registered for the event, which will see participation from 65 industries and 25 human resource agencies.
Deputy Commissioner Divya Prabhu G.R.J. stated that participating companies have indicated a need for approximately 3,000 skilled employees across various educational backgrounds. Online registration closes on Friday, March 7th, but on-the-spot registration will also be available on Sunday. The job fair will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Deputy Commissioner highlighted the numerous facilities being put in place to accommodate attendees, including dedicated interview rooms for various educational qualifications and special arrangements for differently-abled candidates. Help desks will be available to guide job seekers. Companies will also conduct counseling sessions to provide information on job roles, salaries, and other employment-related topics.
Zilla Panchayat CEO Bhuvanesh Patil confirmed that clear announcements will be made, and Police Commissioner N. Shashikumar assured that traffic and parking arrangements will be in place to manage the expected crowds.
