KURNOOL, March 6, 2025 – Ashoka Women’s Engineering College in Kurnool hosted the annual SAACHI 2025 event on Thursday, celebrating the achievements of women across various fields. The event, part of the college’s Women’s Day celebrations, honored 12 women for their outstanding contributions.
Chief guests Y. Showrilu Reddy, dean-administrator at St. Joseph’s Degree College, and philanthropist Vijaya Bharathi, emphasized the importance of perseverance and determination in achieving success. Reddy highlighted the power of women to break barriers, while Bharathi stressed the event’s role in inspiring young women to pursue their ambitions.
Honorees included women excelling in entrepreneurship, fashion, education, art, sports, judiciary, IT, and medicine. Ashoka Women’s Engineering College CEO Hari Krishna and principal R. Naveen reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to women’s empowerment through education and leadership.
