Tue Mar 04 03:30:26 UTC 2025: ## Telangana to Auction 400 Acres Near Hyderabad IT Hub

**Hyderabad, March 4, 2025** – The Telangana government announced plans to auction 400 acres of land near Hyderabad’s burgeoning IT hub to raise funds and further develop the area. The land, located in Kancha Gachibowli Village, will be sold in phases by the Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC), formerly TSIIC. The auction aims to address the state government’s financial needs, particularly in fulfilling election promises.

This move comes amid skyrocketing demand for strategically located land in western Hyderabad, fueled by the expansion of the IT sector, improved infrastructure, including the Outer Ring Road, and the growing need for residential and commercial spaces. The area, already home to established IT hubs like Hitech City and Knowledge City, has seen rapid development, leading to increased traffic congestion.

The TGIIC will first select a transaction advisory consultant by March 15th to optimize the master plan and manage the auction process. The 400 acres, conveniently situated near major transportation links including the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, are expected to attract significant interest from various sectors. The auction is anticipated to further drive infrastructure development and improve connectivity in west Hyderabad. The corporation plans to develop an internationally-standard, sustainable master plan for the land.
