**Mumbai, India** – Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea (Vi) are offering free subscriptions to the newly launched JioHotstar streaming platform with select prepaid mobile plans. The bundled service combines Disney+ Hotstar and JioCinema content.
Jio is offering two plans with the free JioHotstar access. The first is a ₹195 data add-on pack providing 15GB of 4G/5G data and a three-month ad-supported JioHotstar subscription (single-device, HD streaming). The second is a ₹949 plan with 84 days validity, offering 2GB daily data, unlimited calls, and 100 SMS per day, along with the three-month JioHotstar subscription.
Vodafone Idea is also joining the fray, providing free JioHotstar subscriptions with several plans. A ₹151 add-on pack (30-day validity, 4GB data) offers three months of free access. Other Vi plans offering this benefit include a ₹469 plan (28 days, unlimited calls, 100 SMS daily, 2.5GB daily data + unlimited night data), a ₹994 plan (84 days, unlimited calls, 100 SMS daily, 2GB daily data + unlimited night data), and a premium ₹3699 plan (365 days, unlimited calls, 100 SMS daily, 2GB daily data). The latter provides a full year’s access to JioHotstar.
Existing subscribers to Disney+ Hotstar and JioCinema will continue to enjoy their memberships until their plans expire. The offers are timed to coincide with the upcoming India vs. Australia semi-final match in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which will be streamed live on JioHotstar. The match is scheduled for 2:30 PM in Dubai.
