**MADURAI, March 4, 2025** – Police in Madurai are investigating the discovery of a highly decomposed body of an unidentified woman found near Kizhavankulam irrigation tank on Tuesday morning. A local resident discovered a plastic bag containing the body around 9:30 a.m. near the Avaniapuram-Echaneri Road, prompting a response from Perungudi police station.
