**Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh –** Alapati Rajendra Prasad, the candidate of the TDP alliance, has secured a resounding victory in the joint Krishna-Guntur Graduates’ Constituency MLC elections. Preliminary results show a massive lead, with Prasad maintaining a significant margin throughout the counting process.

By the fifth round of counting, Prasad held a commanding lead of 47,850 votes, exceeding 30,000 votes after just three rounds. His closest competitor, K.S. Lakshmana Rao of the PDF, faced a crushing defeat, falling far short of expectations. Analysts predict Prasad’s final margin of victory could reach between 70,000 and 80,000 votes.

Prasad’s campaign leveraged his experience, utilizing technology to reach voters and highlighting the achievements of the TDP-led state government. His strategic outreach, including numerous community meetings, proved highly effective. The support of the Jana Sena Party and BJP, along with the unified efforts of the TDP alliance, contributed significantly to his win. The election also demonstrated strong support for the TDP government among government employees, contrary to pre-election speculation.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu viewed this election as highly prestigious, given its location in the Amaravati capital region. He actively oversaw the campaign, providing guidance and deploying party workers across constituencies to ensure a well-organized election effort. The landslide victory underscores the strong public trust in the TDP alliance government. TDP officials predict Prasad’s final winning margin to exceed one lakh votes.
