**BHADRADRI KOTHAGUDEM, March 1, 2025** – Two young men drowned in the Godavari River near the famous temple town of Bhadrachalam on Friday afternoon. Pavan (22) from Khammam district and Hari Prasad (20) from Vikarabad district were on a pilgrimage with their families when the tragedy occurred. They reportedly drowned while bathing near the river ghats. Local swimmers recovered their bodies later that day. Bhadrachalam police have registered a case and are investigating the incident. The deaths have left their families devastated.
