CARSON CITY, NV – February 27, 2025 – NV Energy (Sierra Pacific Power Company) has submitted a proposal to the Nevada Public Utilities Commission (PUC) to modify regulations concerning the location of electricity meters. The proposal, filed under Advice Letter No. 677-E (Docket No. 25-02005), aims to adjust Rule No. 16 within Electric Tariff No. 1.

The PUC announced the filing and opened a public comment period. Interested parties have until March 12, 2025, to submit comments or petitions to intervene. While anyone can submit written comments, only parties of record will have full participation rights in the proceedings.
