Fri Feb 28 04:00:00 UTC 2025: ## Timberwolves’ Gobert, DiVincenzo, and Randle Out for Sunday’s National TV Game

**Minneapolis, MN** – The Minnesota Timberwolves will be without three key players for their nationally televised game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday night. Center Rudy Gobert (low back spasms), guard Donte DiVincenzo (big toe sprain), and forward Julius Randle (right groin strain) have all been ruled out.

Gobert will miss his second consecutive game, while DiVincenzo and Randle have been sidelined since January 15th and 31st, respectively. Although both DiVincenzo and Randle have been cleared for increased basketball activities, neither will be ready to return in time for the 8:30 p.m. CT tip-off on ESPN.

The absence of Gobert was felt acutely in the Timberwolves’ Friday night loss to the Houston Rockets, where Minnesota surrendered 48 points in the opening quarter. Coach Chris Finch will once again need to rely on his bench, which saw significant contributions from Jaylen Clark and Terrence Shannon Jr. in the previous game. Rookie Rob Dillingham saw limited action after drawing the coach’s displeasure.

The Timberwolves will face the Thunder in Minneapolis on Sunday before a back-to-back game in Oklahoma City on Monday.
