**CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS)** – The University of Virginia is under a shelter-in-place order for the second time this week following reports of an active attacker armed with a knife. University Police are currently searching for a suspect described as a white male wearing a red hoodie and blue sweatpants. The suspect was last seen near 100 Emmet Street South, across from Alumni Hall.
Authorities are urging students and staff to remain where they are until the order is lifted and to avoid the area. The weather forecast for the evening is mainly clear with a slight chance of rain showers and a low of 37 degrees Fahrenheit.
