**Chennai, February 28, 2025** – BJP Tamil Nadu president K. Annamalai on Friday accused Chief Minister M.K. Stalin of attempting to deflect criticism of his government’s misgovernance by raising a “non-existent” Hindi imposition issue. Annamalai claimed that Stalin’s efforts had failed to resonate with the people of Tamil Nadu, except for a small group.
He highlighted a video of Water Resources Minister Duraimurugan advocating for Hindi proficiency for parliamentarians, arguing this contradicts Stalin’s stance. Annamalai further questioned the disparity in language policies, noting that private school students have the option of a third language under the National Education Policy (NEP), while government school students lack this opportunity. He challenged the state government to explain this discrepancy.
