**Hyderabad, February 28, 2025** – AICC in-charge for Telangana, Meenakshi Natarajan, stressed the importance of empowering grassroots party workers during her first visit to the state. Addressing the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) executive meeting, she urged leaders to prioritize party cadre, emphasizing their crucial role in the party’s success.
Natarajan condemned the practice of party workers carrying leaders’ luggage, advocating for the self-respect of all members. She called for a renewed focus on reaching every village with government programs, setting an April deadline for creating a calendar of activities at the district, mandal, and village levels. She also highlighted the need to propagate Rahul Gandhi’s slogan, “Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan,” across the state.
The AICC in-charge praised the Telangana government’s caste survey, recognizing its impact and urging the Congress to leverage its results for policy development. She further emphasized the party’s unique historical contribution to India’s independence and the need to counter divisive forces.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy instructed ministers to finalize the list of party workers for various committees by March 10th, promising to provide political opportunities to committed cadre. He also expressed concern over the inactivity of some appointed officials and those left out of appointments, urging all sincere workers to actively engage in disseminating government programs.
