**Mangaluru, Feb 28, 2025:** Over 16,000 students in Udupi district are gearing up for their II year pre-university (II PUC) examinations, commencing March 1st. The Deputy Director of the Pre-University Department, Maruti, announced that 16,203 students will be writing the exams across 28 centers. Rigorous security measures are in place to prevent malpractice, including webcasting from all exam centers and GPS-tracked transportation of question papers. Answer sheets will be sent directly to evaluation centers via post offices, and groups of people will be prohibited within 200 meters of exam centers. Nearby copying centers will also remain closed for the duration of the exams.
