Agriculture Minister N. Chaluvarayaswamy announced that Karnataka currently boasts 1,472 FPOs with 8.26 lakh farmer shareholders, generating business transactions worth ₹1,073 crore. He highlighted the government’s continued support, noting a ₹21 crore allocation for 486 Amrit FPOs in 2024-25, and further grants of ₹18 lakh (three years) and ₹25 lakh (five years) for operational expenses to FPOs and community-based business organizations respectively.
