**Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, February 28, 2025** – A police investigation is underway following the discovery of a deceased man near the 17th bend on the Sirumalai Ghat road in Dindigul district. The body, identified as that of Shibu from Kerala, was found Thursday night on a private estate after a complaint of a foul smell.
Police sources report that wires, batteries, and detonators were found near the body. While searching the area, an explosion involving the batteries injured three individuals: two police personnel and a forest department official. All three are receiving medical treatment. Superintendent of Police A. Pradeep is leading the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death and the subsequent explosion.
