**Bidar, Karnataka –** A three-day State-level conference on traditional medicine will be held in Bidar, Karnataka, starting March 2nd, Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre announced. Over 1,500 traditional healers from across Karnataka and beyond are expected to attend the 15th such conference.

The event, to be held at the Beldale Convention Hall and Channabasava Pattadevaru Ranga Mandir, will feature 11 deliberative sessions focusing on the sharing and refinement of traditional healing knowledge. Minister Khandre emphasized the importance of preserving Karnataka’s rich biodiversity and the vital role traditional healers play in utilizing the state’s natural resources for healthcare. Reports from the conference sessions will be submitted to the Karnataka Biodiversity Board for potential government action. The conference aims to provide a platform for the exchange of expertise and the advancement of traditional medicine practices. Municipal Administrative Minister Rahim Khan and other officials were also present at the press conference announcing the event.
