**Bengaluru, February 28, 2025** – Akasa Air today announced the launch of its first international route from Bengaluru, commencing daily direct flights to Abu Dhabi. The inaugural flight departs Kempegowda International Airport at 10:00 IST and arrives at Zayed International Airport at 12:35 AST. This new service operates under a codeshare agreement with Etihad Airways, expanding Akasa Air’s presence in the UAE.
The airline now offers 21 weekly flights connecting Abu Dhabi with three major Indian cities. Neelu Khatri, Akasa Air’s co-founder and SVP International, expressed excitement about the new route, highlighting its potential to boost tourism, trade, and cultural exchange between India and the UAE.
