Vancouver residents rejoice! ZIPAIR Tokyo has announced a significant increase in flights between Narita (Tokyo) and Vancouver to meet soaring travel demand. From May 8th to August 14th, 2025, the airline will offer six flights a week (Monday-Saturday).

This expansion provides more options for Vancouverites travelling to Japan, especially during peak summer travel. Fares are competitive, with prices starting from ¥33,775 (approximately CAD $360) for a Standard seat and even lower for the U6 Standard fare (¥10,000 or approximately CAD $107). A sample search for a July 31st flight showed fares as low as $410.67 CAD. Round-trip tickets with Value packages in early August were found to be around $1,077.62 CAD.

While these prices are attractive for summer travel, travellers should note a price increase for checked baggage effective March 30th, 2025, increasing by ¥4,000 (approximately CAD $41). Joining the “ZIPAIR Point Club Plus” program offers a 30% discount on checked baggage fees.

The increased flight frequency will see a specific schedule of 8:25 AM arrival and 10:25 AM departure from Vancouver from July 3rd to August 14th. Tickets for the additional flights are already on sale.
