Thu Feb 27 00:20:00 UTC 2025: ## Coimbatore Court Sentences Two to Three Years for 2019 Attempted Murder

**COIMBATORE, February 27, 2025** – A Principal Subordinate Court in Coimbatore has sentenced two men, T. Gowtham and N. Kathirvel, to three years of rigorous imprisonment for the attempted murder of M. Bharathikannan in 2019. Judge B.S. Kalaivani also handed Gowtham a three-month sentence for voluntarily causing hurt, in addition to a ₹1,000 fine for both convicts. The assault took place on January 19, 2019, in the city.
