**Chennai, February 28, 2025** – Six suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of history-sheeter Robert alias Chinna Robert, 28, and the assault on the mother of one of his accomplices in Anna Nagar, Chennai.
The incident occurred on Thursday at 6:15 p.m. when Robert was attacked by a group of men on motorcycles wielding knives. He was rushed to Government Kilpauk Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The assailants then attacked the mother of one of Robert’s associates.
Police have identified Logu as a prime suspect, believing him to be responsible for the murder of Robert’s associate Gokul a few years ago. The ongoing investigation suggests a connection between the two murders stemming from previous enmity. Logu and five other suspects are currently in police custody. The Anna Nagar police have registered a case and are continuing their investigation.
