**Hyderabad, February 27, 2025** – Telangana police arrested a man for selling ganja near a private school in the Charminar area of Hyderabad on Thursday. Authorities seized 1.4 kilograms of ganja and ₹70,400 in cash from the suspect, identified as Mohammed Mugdham. The arrest followed a tip-off, leading to a raid by the State Task Force (STF) of the Telangana Excise and Prohibition Department. Malakpet excise police have filed a case against Mugdham and two accomplices, Mohammad Wajid and Md Javed, who remain at large. The police are actively pursuing their apprehension.
