The NIA confirmed on Thursday that troops previously withdrawn from the region in mid-January, after suffering heavy losses according to Ukrainian reports, have returned. This follows previous reports indicating that over 10,000 North Korean soldiers were sent to Russia last year to support its war effort against Ukraine.
