**Barcelona, Spain** – Samsung’s highly anticipated One UI 7 update, based on Android 15, is set to begin rolling out in April, according to a leaked Samsung workshop screenshot obtained by GSMArena. The rollout will be staggered, with flagship devices receiving the update first.
The Galaxy S24 series (including the S24 FE), Galaxy Z Flip6, and Galaxy Z Fold6 will be among the first to receive the update on April 18th. A second wave on April 25th will include the Galaxy S23 family, Galaxy Z Flip5, Z Fold5, and Galaxy A54.
The rollout continues into May, with the Galaxy S23 FE, S22 series, and several A-series devices (A34, A33, A53) receiving the update on May 16th. Finally, the Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Flip3, and Z Fold3 will get the update on May 23rd.
This staggered approach has drawn criticism, with some commentators noting the lengthy delay compared to Google’s Android 15 release in October 2024 and Xiaomi’s November release of their Android 15-based HyperOS 2 update. The omission of the Galaxy A55 from the initial rollout schedule has also raised questions. The extended timeframe raises concerns about Samsung’s commitment to timely software updates.
