Thu Feb 27 02:40:00 UTC 2025: ## Heat Snap Losing Streak, Edge Raptors in Overtime Thriller

**Toronto, ON** – The Miami Heat ended a four-game losing streak with a hard-fought 120-111 overtime victory against the Toronto Raptors Friday night. Tyler Herro led the Heat’s charge, scoring 10 of his game-high 28 points in the crucial fourth quarter and overtime. Andrew Wiggins added 25 points to the Miami effort.

Bam Adebayo contributed a strong double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds, while former Raptor Davion Mitchell chipped in 16 points against his old team. Duncan Robinson also reached double digits with 14 points. The win marked Miami’s first since February 5th.

The Raptors, led by RJ Barrett’s 29 points and Immanuel Quickley’s 23, fought back from a 14-point first-half deficit to take a late lead in regulation. Scottie Barnes added 13 points before leaving the game briefly with an apparent ankle injury, only to return in the second quarter. Gradey Dick set a new career-high with 10 rebounds. However, a crucial foul by Barrett on Wiggins sent the latter to the free-throw line, where he sank three shots to tie the game at 107-107, forcing overtime.

In the extra period, Adebayo scored six points as the Heat secured their first road overtime win of the season. The Raptors’ late-game struggles, including missed shots by Barnes and Adebayo in the final seconds of regulation, ultimately cost them the game.

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra reached a significant milestone, surpassing Red Auerbach to become the third-winningest coach in NBA history with a single team.

Both teams face tough matchups on Sunday; Miami travels to Milwaukee, while Toronto hosts Phoenix.
