**Jammu, February 27, 2025** – Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir launched extensive search operations Thursday following two separate incidents involving suspected terrorists. The first incident occurred Wednesday near Phal village in the Sunderbani sector of Rajouri district, where terrorists opened fire on an Indian Army vehicle. While the attack caused no casualties, according to the Army’s White Knight Corps, a large-scale search operation, utilizing drones and sniffer dogs, is underway and has expanded to new areas. The Army addressed false social media claims of casualties among its troops.
A second operation was launched in Dayalachak, near the International Border in Kathua district, after security forces intercepted a suspicious wireless set. A joint meeting between police, Army, and Border Security Force officials followed the interception. Searches are ongoing in both locations, with additional checkpoints established in the area.
