Thu Feb 27 09:41:44 UTC 2025: ## Delhi Court Requests 26/11 Trial Records from Mumbai Ahead of Rana’s Extradition
**New Delhi, February 27, 2025** – A Delhi court has ordered the transfer of trial records related to the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks from a Mumbai court. The move comes in anticipation of the extradition of Tahawwur Hussain Rana, the alleged mastermind of the attacks.
District Judge Vimal Kumar Yadav issued the order on January 28th, responding to a request from the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The records were previously transferred to Mumbai due to the multiple cases related to the 26/11 attacks in both cities.
The extradition of Rana, a Pakistani-origin Canadian businessman, was approved by a US court. He is wanted in India for his alleged role in the attacks carried out by the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist group.
