Tue Feb 25 17:12:14 UTC 2025: ## Thiruvananthapuram Police Seize 6 kg of Ganja, Arrest Two
**THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, February 25, 2025** – Museum police in Thiruvananthapuram have arrested two young men, Vineesh (22) and Ananthu (22), for possessing six kilograms of ganja. The arrest followed an inspection near Sasthamangalam, where police seized the drugs. Authorities believe the duo intended to sell the ganja throughout the city.
The operation was conducted under the direction of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order – 1) B.V. Vijay Bharath Reddy. A team led by Assistant Commissioner of Police Stuart Keeler and Museum station house officer S. Vimal made the arrests. Both suspects have been remanded in custody after appearing in court.
