**Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh –** Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde lauded the arrangements at the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, calling it the world’s largest spiritual gathering. Shinde, who took a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam on Monday, heaped praise on Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the event’s successful execution.
“The arrangements made here are excellent,” Shinde stated, adding, “I want to congratulate PM Modi, and under his leadership, UP CM Yogi and his team have done a great job. This is a record in itself; the arrangements here will surpass all records.”
The Maha Kumbh, held every 12 years, began on January 13th and will continue until February 26th. According to the Uttar Pradesh government, over 38 crore pilgrims have already attended the mega-fair, which draws devotees from across India and the globe.
