HYDERABAD, February 27, 2025 – Three men were arrested in Hyderabad on Wednesday for allegedly stealing nearly ₹7 lakh from a grocery store. A joint operation by the Malkajgiri Central Crime Station (CCS) and Uppal police led to the apprehension of Mohammed Khader (48), Abdul Khalid (48), and Shaik Abdul Moin (42).
Police recovered ₹5.3 lakh of the stolen cash. The suspects, who worked as laborers, were identified through CCTV footage after the owner of Naman Marketing Whole Kirana store, Gyan Chand Sharma, reported the burglary on February 23rd. Police say the men conducted surveillance before targeting the store and breaking in during the late hours. The investigation revealed a history of similar crimes involving the accused.
