Wed Feb 26 10:20:00 UTC 2025: ## Stellantis Profit-Sharing Plunges 73%, Leaving UAW Workers with $3,780

**DETROIT –** Stellantis workers represented by the United Auto Workers (UAW) will receive significantly smaller profit-sharing checks this year, a stark contrast to last year’s payouts. The automaker announced Wednesday that eligible employees will receive $3,780, a dramatic 73% decrease from the $13,860 received in 2023.

The announcement comes on the heels of Stellantis reporting a $5.8 billion net profit for 2024, but a $133 million net loss in the second half of the year. The company attributed the downturn to lower sales and high inventory levels. This significantly trails its Detroit rivals, with Ford offering $10,208 and General Motors $14,500 in profit-sharing.

Approximately 38,800 Stellantis workers are eligible for the profit-sharing payments, which are based on individual compensated hours and will be distributed on March 7th. The reduced payout reflects the company’s performance in North America and aligns with the terms of its 2023 contract with the UAW. Stellantis is currently searching for a new CEO following the departure of Carlos Tavares late last year.
