Wed Feb 26 02:00:00 UTC 2025: ## Scott Foley to Headline Amazon Prime Video’s “It’s Not Like That”

**Los Angeles, CA** – Amazon Prime Video has officially greenlit its new series, “It’s Not Like That,” with Scott Foley (“Felicity,” “Grey’s Anatomy”) attached to star. The series, from faith-based studio Wonder Project, received a cast-contingent order in November, and Foley’s casting has now triggered the full series commitment.

Foley will play Malcolm, a modern-day minister navigating single parenthood and unexpected romantic complications after the death of his wife. He’ll be opposite a recently divorced mother of two teens, creating a complex dynamic between their intertwined families. The show explores themes of faith, family, and the challenges of finding love again in unexpected circumstances.

“It’s Not Like That” was created by Ian Deitchman and Kristin Robinson, who also serve as showrunners and executive producers alongside Foley and several other producers from Wonder Project, 42 & Anonymous Content, and Kingdom Story Company. Deitchman and Robinson have a significant track record in television, including work on Amazon’s “As We See It” and “Carnival Row,” and are currently co-executive producers on Amazon’s “Off Campus.”

The series is produced by Wonder Project and Amazon MGM Studios, and marks another high-profile project for Foley, who recently starred in Netflix’s “La Dolce Villa” and ABC’s “Will Trent.” He is also set to appear in the upcoming “Scream” sequel. Production details for “It’s Not Like That” are yet to be announced.
