Wed Feb 26 00:10:00 UTC 2025: ## Oilers Make Lineup Changes for Tough Test Against Lightning

**TAMPA, FL** – The Edmonton Oilers will look to snap their two-game losing streak against a hot Tampa Bay Lightning team on Tuesday night at Amalie Arena. To bolster their chances, the Oilers will be making two changes to their lineup. Defenseman Troy Stecher returns to the second pairing alongside Darnell Nurse, replacing John Klingberg. Forward Mattias Janmark will also rejoin the lineup, slotting in on the third line with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Connor Brown, replacing Jeff Skinner. Stuart Skinner will start in goal.

Janmark, who previously played center, will shift back to left wing. Stecher, meanwhile, is coming off a game against the Philadelphia Flyers where he recorded his first goal as an Oiler. The Lightning, winners of five straight games, present a formidable challenge, boasting a dominant 11-2-1 record against the Oilers in their last 14 visits to Amalie Arena.

“They’re a fast team. They’ve got a lot of skill and they have good experience, too,” Oilers forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins acknowledged. “They know how to win, so it’ll be a challenge, but we’re excited for it. We usually try to raise our game when we play a team like this. So we expect a good start from us tonight.”
