Wed Feb 26 15:48:56 UTC 2025: ## MVJCE to Host Workshop on Climate-Resilient Innovations
**Bengaluru, February 26, 2025** – MVJ College of Engineering (MVJCE), in collaboration with the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) Bangalore Chapter, will host a workshop titled “Vishwa 2025” on February 28th. The workshop focuses on fostering innovations for a sustainable future on Earth and in space.
The event will feature prominent speakers, including B.N. Suresh, Chancellor of IIST Thiruvananthapuram, and S. Gopalakrishnan, Chairman of INAE, Bangalore Chapter, who will inaugurate the workshop. Distinguished lectures will be delivered by V.K. Aatre, former Scientific Advisor to the Defence Minister, on the historical, philosophical, and societal perspectives of science and technology; Dr. Bala Govindasamy, on geoengineering and climate change; and M. Sankaran, Director of the U.R. Rao Satellite Centre, on ISRO’s contributions to a sustainable future.
A student competition will also be held, focusing on Climate Tech Innovations, Cyber Systems for Sustainability, and Clean Energy and Carbon Management. The workshop will take place at MVJ College of Engineering near ITPL, Whitefield, Kadugodi, beginning at 9 a.m.
