**Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh – February 27, 2025** – A full-grown leopard was discovered dead at Rudra Park, near Srisailam town in Nandyal district, on Wednesday. Devotees visiting the nearby Srisailam temple initially mistook the animal for sleeping before realizing it was deceased.
Forest officials investigating the scene found the leopard’s claws missing, leading them to suspect poaching. A case has been registered, and further investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of death. The incident occurred in a park bordering a dense forest.
