**Chennai, February 26, 2025** – The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) will host its 10th annual entrepreneurship summit, “Decade of Dynamism,” from February 28th. This year’s summit expects over 1,000 founders, 50 investors, and 15,000 students from 400 colleges nationwide.
A key highlight of the e-summit ’25 will be the inaugural “PitchFest,” a live fundraising event where approximately 100 startups will compete for funding from angel investors. The summit also introduces a “biz bazaar,” allowing students to showcase and sell their creations. Other features include a startup expo, a bootcamp for early-stage startups, an incubator summit, and the pan-India fundraising event “Elevate.”
IIT Madras director V. Kamakoti emphasized PitchFest as a valuable opportunity for students to hone their fundraising skills. Faculty advisor Richa Agrawal highlighted the summit as the culmination of a year-long effort by the e-cell team. The event also incorporates social initiatives like “in-verse,” supporting the creative arts sector, and “Education-21,” aiming to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset among schoolchildren. The summit aims to foster collaboration between aspiring entrepreneurs, industry experts, and investors.
