**Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu –** Members of the AIADMK youth wing, joined by Congress and VCK cadres, protested the Union Government’s three-language policy in Krishnagiri on Tuesday. The demonstration involved defacing Hindi signage at a local India Post office by smearing it with black paint.
The protesters voiced opposition to the policy, alleging the government is forcefully imposing Hindi and linking the release of education funds to the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP). Slogans were chanted against the Union Government throughout the demonstration, which began at the taluk office and culminated at the India Post office. Police have yet to release a statement on the incident.
